    Principal ports of landing: Esmeraldas , Chanduy, Anconcito, Playas, Posorja, Guayaquil and Puerto Bolívar.

    Habitat and biology: Product aquaculture, coastal zones crop or Costa del Ecuador. (Pools provinces Gold, Guyas, Manabi, Esmeraldas FAO Area 03 or seafood. Ocean Pacifico FA o87).

    Types of fisheries: Artisanal and industrial.

    Length: Maximum size 23cm, maximum Cl 9 cm. (LF).
